INK has licensed a proprietary version of the BananaCom software from Banana Software. It does modem detection automatically and should prove easy to use. It supports both the Kermit and Z-Modem file transfer protocols.
To install, download the new software into (or copy it into) a temporary directory (i.e. INKTEMP), change to that directory, type INKFILES and press enter to extract the files, then type INSTALL to install it. You can delete the temporary directory and its contents when you have successfully installed. You may wish to copy the files to a diskette first and label it INK install version 10.6.
